RE-SHOOTING
As a result of our audience feedback, we decided to do some re-shooting in order to make it seem like less of a movie trailer and more of an opening. We decided that we would need to film another part of the narrative from the beginning of the opening to put at the end to link them together. For this, we had to arrange to meet with Lucy and Jess in the same woodland location again to keep continuity. We also asked them to wear the same costumes so that it looked the same as the other shots. I was in charge of the re-shooting which meant that I was responsible for making sure that everything remained the same.
We also had to re-shoot the shot of the classroom in the montage as we decided that it would benefit from having a shot of it looking normal before the shot which shows it trashed. Ryan was in charge of this shot, which he was able to successfully complete.
Overall we found that re-shooting was a success and it has hugely benefitted our opening. Below is a gif of the part that we added as a result of re shooting:
