SCORE PRODUCTION

Once we had filmed our opening, we were able create our score. As Bernadette has more experience in music than Ryan and I, she took charge of this part. We required help from Jess Grant, one of our friends who plays a variety of instruments in order to create our score. Bernadette arranged with Jess to meet at Bernadette's house where they were able to use Bernadette's step dad's recording studio. This meant that the final product would sound and feel more professional. It also meant that the quality of it would be improved as there would be no background noises.

They began by experimenting with different keys, tempos and instruments to make sure that they had made the right decision about which instruments would sound creepier to the audience. They were also able to review the rough cut so that they could determine where the crescendos needed to be. By the end of the session, our score had been successfully created and our group was extremely happy with it.
